The South West of England is another region that we are proud to have in The Great British Cookbook. With massively renowned chefs, Rick Stein OBE and Michael Caines MBE, it is certainly not a region to miss out on. Not only do we have these two chefs, we also have a range of great restaurants that are also involved, The Ethicurean, Millbrook Inn, Weighbridge Brew House and more.

Rick Stein has included a delightful starter of Goujons of Lemon Sole. The goujons are coated with parmesan breadcrumbs and are a fantastic starter for any meal and are certain to make you want them again and again.

Michael Caines has also inputted a starter to the cookbook which is ‘Pan-fried Brixham Scallops’. If you are a lover of scallops or just want to try them for the first time, then this is definitely a recipe you should try. There’s no better place to start than right at the very top, is there?
