London is just one of 10 regions of the United Kingdom that is featured in The Great British Cookbook, what a great region they are too. This particular region features chefs such as Nigella Lawson, Adam Simmonds, Cyrus Todiwala and restaurants like ‘Whyte & Brown’, ‘The Cavendish Hotel London’, ‘Corrigan’s of Mayfair’ and a lot more.

It is safe to say that we have not been let down by this region, as the quality of dishes both look and taste delicious. One of the dishes that really stands out is Filet Oscar created by Nigel Boschetti at JW Steakhouse. The thick, tender steak is mouth watering just to look at and is polished off with crab meat, asparagus and a delight béarnaise sauce.

Another eye catching dish is the Black Rice Pudding created by The Cavendish Hotel London. This dish is not only great to look at, but is also a recipe that will delight your taste buds. The rice pudding, topped with a coconut sorbet, is a must try dish that will have you raving about it for some time to come.

Mark’s Veg Plot is a diverse garden created by Mark and his wife, Jane, which grows a range of organic produce that is also influence by their travels around the globe. They are both big believers in growing fresh vegetables and is confident that “a property without a garden is incomplete, even when we lived on a 5th floor flat, I somehow contrived to have a balcony full of plants”.
